Personal Definition of IDT
Instructional Design and Technology is the ability to create instructional design applications with rich content in a variety of technological genres. Instruction is the focus of this definition as it should have all the elements needed to provide effective instruction to the end user, while also maintaining a flow that follows the tested elements of good design.
The future of Instructional Design and Technology is bright with many jobs not yet created, waiting for the creative and innovative inventor. This is where I see myself in a few years, creating and designing content rich media for the masses that will allow them to navigate into the world of education and provide an inspiring wealth of knowledge, sure to entertain and never bore the learner.
